Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Four Built is a construction management platform developed by FourRise Labs and operated by Fourrise Consulting Inc., 12 Barbara Ave, Auburn, MA, USA ("FourRise", "we", "us"). These Terms of Use govern access to the platform at fourbuilt.com and at any domain where a company uses Four Built under its own brand (white label).

By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Four Built on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that company.

2. Accounts and access

The company account holder ("Owner") is responsible for the users it invites (office staff, field crew and subcontractors), for the permissions it grants and for everything done under its account.

Keep your password and login codes confidential. Tell us right away at team@fourrise.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Your data

Everything your company enters or uploads (jobs, estimates, invoices, receipts, photos, documents, time records and people data) belongs to your company. You give us only the permission needed to host, process, display and back up that data in order to run the platform for you.

You are responsible for having the right to upload that content, including the consent of employees, clients and subcontractors whose data you store, and for complying with the labor, tax and privacy laws that apply to your business.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Four Built to break the law, to send spam, to upload malicious code, to access other companies’ data, to resell the platform without a written agreement, or to interfere with its security or availability.

We may suspend accounts that put the platform, other customers or third parties at risk.

5. Plans and payment

Paid plans, trial periods and prices are shown in the platform or set in a separate written agreement (for example, white label contracts). Fees are not refundable for partial periods unless the agreement says otherwise. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice.

6. Third party services and AI

Some features rely on third party services, such as Google (Drive and Calendar, when you connect them), payment processors, email and SMS providers and artificial intelligence models used to read receipts, transcribe audio and generate punch lists or drafts.

AI results can contain mistakes. Review totals, tasks, documents and any AI output before relying on it or sending it to a client.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Four Built available and secure, with regular backups, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve, change or remove features. Planned maintenance will be announced when possible.

8. Disclaimers

Four Built is a management tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, engineering or insurance advice, and it does not replace the professional judgment of your company. The platform is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, FourRise is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data caused by the use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts your company paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

10. Ending the service

You can stop using Four Built at any time. We may end or suspend access for breach of these Terms or non payment. After the account is closed, you may request an export of your data within 30 days; after that, data may be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Massachusetts, unless the law requires otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

When we update these Terms, we will change the date at the top and ask every user to accept the new version on their next access.
